We have fully renovated the kindergarten classroom by placing a thick carpet on the floor and new paintings on the walls. In addition, we bought new toys and educational material which were lacking in the classroom. The furniture was assembled locally, to shelf the toys and games. What is more, we bought some pillows and small beds for the children's nap time. School for deaf children in Katmandou: round of accomplishments

The achievements are:    1. The repair of 11 computers, and the purchase of a new one for the computer classroom.  2. The repair of 9 toilets with the stall doors, and the construction of a concrete pavement. 3. The fabrication of desks for the kindergarten children.  4. The purchase of educative and pedagogical games and toys for the children of the preparatory class (learning sign language).  5. The investment in sports games for all the students. 6. The renovation of 15 bathrooms for the school of deaf children in Katmandou – end of the project

Among our achievements, Ek Pahila prioritised the construction of new bathrooms. Having not reached our intended budget, we reviewed our financial plan to fund the renovation of the 15 existing bathrooms. Final work at Kali Devi School

It is a big change for the students of grade 10 who can now further benefit from their physics lessons with a good practise of physics experiments. Before, students were unable to learn and understand the theoritical lessons without having the necessary tools, not to mention a physics room! First achievement in the school of deaf children project

Construction of new school desks special for children Ek Pahila was able to finance the construction of new school desks for a class that had terrible conditions. The desks were designed in a arc-shaped manor to allow the children of the 3 classes to focus all their attention on the teacher. Below, carpenters accurately cut boards of wood for the arc-shaped school desks. The boards are then assembled in one of the school's classes, and are ready for use. School desks for 4th grade and 5th grade students Thanks to a grant received from "La Fondation Solucom", Ek Pahila Foundation was able to finance and supervise over the fabrication of 15 new school desks for the 4th and 5th grade students. June 2013 : Debut of the collaboration with the school of deaf children in Katmandou

For their third project, Ek Pahila collaborated and worked closely with the school of deaf children in Katmandou. The school was founded by the nepali doctor L.N Prasad and his american wife Suzan Hermannan in 1966. Today, the school opens its doors to 445 children, aged between 3 and 20 years old, sorted into a wide range of classes; from learning sign language to degree courses. Water supply initiative at Kali Devi School

2 water tanks and 2 taps connected together via a simple pipeline now provide water to 177 students and 11 staff members at Kali Devi School. For many years, the school constantly faced water shortages due to the lack of a water storage facility and the absence of proper water distribution pipelines. Now, the students and teachers have complete access to water during school time.
