We are pleased to present the training we have funded and organized in Shree Mahakali Secondary School in Simle, Dhading, Nepal. We believe that teachers need to be provided the right tools and taught proper methods of teaching to improve the quality of education in classrooms. This 3-day training, from March 15 to 17, 2018 allowed 26 teachers to share and discuss on various teaching methods. We warmly thank our donors for their support and we wish the best to the teachers! About the training's programme We are glad to present you the 3rd leadership programme which took place at the Shree Adarsha Secondary School in Tarsapu, located in the Dhadhing district, from 11th to 13 th of August, 2017. Pilot Training Program at Dhola School

Association Ek Pahila has launched a training program for the first time. This was a first attempt, a pilot project that was conducted at Shree Kalika School in Dhola. This three-day training program targeted teachers, school committee members and the principal. This training called "Leadership program" aims at developing a medium and long-term strategy for the school. Since June 2016, we have launched a fundraising campaign to be able to build a bridge between the two villages of Pida and Kumpur, representing a community of more than 30,000 habitants. We had visited the site and met the residents who have to use it on daily basis to commute. Shree Kalika school visit, Dhola

Today we have visited the Shree Kalika School, located in the village of Dhola. This school was severely affected by the earthquake of April 2015 and had lost two buildings and many of its teaching materials and books. Since then, the school has received funding for the reconstruction of the two buildings, from a Japanese NGO. Now, our objective will be to re-equip these classrooms, especially for the kindergarten classroom and for the establishment of a physics-chemistry classroom. Supply of the first 500 graines of coffee to kickstart the coffee culture program !

Ek Pahila Foundation collaborated with Saraswati School from June 2014 to July 2015. Due to the earthquake of April 2015, The Foundation chose to pause the coffee culture program; since the emergency was to construct temporary shelters for the local families of the Saraswati School. Following the level of funds raised, Ek Pahila financed the procurement of the first 500 graines of coffee, which were planted by the students, their parents, and the teachers. New pedagogical material contributed to the library

The library was lacking a considerable amount of books, educational material (covering different subjects taught in class), and English Language books of all levels. Therefore, The Foundation funded the purchase of new books of various subjects, as well as dictionaries and a video projector; which will allow teachers to use it for slideshow presentations and movies.
